Will be held at Jamul Community Church on 14058 Jamul Drive. Check-in will begin at 12:30 each day and photo ID is required for check-out. Our program is broken into three age groups: 3 years old – Kindergarten, entering 1st grade - entering 4th grade, and entering 5th grade – entering 6th grade. Each day kids will learn about Jesus through Bible stories, crafts, songs, skits, videos, games and snacks. Throughout everything KIDSWORLD is doing in 2011 we want to focus on one specific thing – Transformation. We are committed to be used by God to create opportunities for the Holy Spirit to transform ourselves, kids and families. People cannot be transformed without the power of God working in their lives and without transformation there cannot be spiritual formation. KIDSWORLD partners with families to spiritually form children so we are trusting and calling out to God for transfromation to happen in a mighty way this year.

We can’t wait to see you at Cookin’ Up Christmas! This year the annual choir Christmas party is stirring up something new. Instead of the party being all about them, the kids have collected favorite recipes from their church members and are cookin’ up some treats to share with the community. As they collect the recipes, cook together, wrap gifts, and work together as a team, they learn about the real “recipe” of Christmas – God’s love.

How have you been a significant example to a child this week? Parents – what is your plan to make sure you continue being a significant example to your children and that there are other people in your child’s life who are significant examples.

  We would love to have your help/visit your child’s class on weekend services. It would be great to have you join us once every other month. You can email me or call me and I will schedule you in at one of our services. You can even pick the same time and week for the rest of the year. Here are some other ways you can partner with us:

*Organize the skit & props closet – one time commitment

*Guy small group leaders for Sat. 6pm and Sun. 9:30am – every week commitment

*Construct Christmas Musical stage and props for this year’s program

*Christmas Musical costume designers for this year’s program

*Preschool parents – Bring in a healthy snack to share (plain animal crackers, teddy grams, nilla wafers, etc.

Also, I want to let you elementary parents know of a great new resource that correlates with what your children learn on Sunday Morning. I think this is a must have resource that will increase the spiritual influence you have on your children. This resource is called CUE Box which has a physical box that is sent to you each month and a tremendous amount of online elements. You can also just get a digital/online version of everything if you don’t want the physical box. Check it out at www.studio252.tv Be sure to visit the parent page and the FAQ’s on that page.

Sonshine Clubs are free after-school programs that teach God’s word as well as provide many other exciting kid activities. We would love to serve with you at one of these school locations:

• Jamacha Elementary Wednesday’s 1-2pm beginning October 6^th. Krew meeting Oct. 3 1pm at the Brady’s house.
• Jamul Elementary Monday’s after school beginning mid October.

Krew positions are:

• Age-Division Small Group Leader, Craft Leader, Game Leader and Snack Leader
